Combi Boiler Information – Ariston Combi Boiler
A combi (or combination boiler) is a compact and highly efficient unit giving all the heating and hot water you need, with significant savings on running and installation costs.
Advantages:

Excellent water pressure for shower (also hot and cold water
at all outlets).
· No need for a tank in the loft (so no risk of freezing
or flooding).
· No need for a cylinder or the various pipework found with other
boilers (saves space and money).
· Appropriate for households with many members which put a significant
demand on hot water.
Disadvantages:
· Higher system pressure which may seek out leaks.
· No tank so no extra water in emergencies.
· Because the hot water heats on demand it runs more slowly and thus means
it takes longer to run a bath. As the combination boiler heats water as you use
it, the flow of taps for baths may not be as powerful
A condensing combi boiler is more efficient due to its ability to extract more heat from the flue gases normally lost to the environment through the flue system.
Energy Saving Tip: When you wash your dishes and clothes make sure you put on full loads.
